Looking for a dazzling diva with a heart of gold, a wardrobe full of spandex, and enough glitter to blind a small village? Then buckle up, darling — because Wonder Mama is here to save your event from the forces of boredom!
Bursting onto the scene at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in 2014, Wonder Mama has since become a bedazzled icon of the LGBTQIA+ community, appearing in the parade every year (she even flew in via invisible jet and took home “Best Small Parade Entry” in 2017 – not all heroes wear capes… but she definitely does).
She’s made international appearances — from WonderCon in California (where she snatched the “Most Humorous Entry” title), to New York City, where she proudly represented Australia in the successful bid for World Pride 2023. She’s not just fabulous — she’s world-class fabulous.
A fierce supporter of causes close to her glittery heart, Wonder Mama has appeared at Marriage Equality rallies, Wear it Purple Day, and works proudly with orgs like the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation and Don’t Forget Our Homeless.
Behind the mask (and lashes), Wonder Mama’s alter ego Wilma Powers – aka Renny Roccon – is an author, illustrator, and former graphic designer who’s written and illustrated three children’s books promoting self-love, inclusion, and the power of being your fabulous self.
Whether you’re planning a corporate function, community event, Pride celebration, hens night, or something truly out-of-the-box, Wonder Mama is the superhero entertainer your audience will never forget — part drag queen, part motivational speaker, part glitter cannon.
